Creative Director and Lead Animator
for visuals for large-scale keynote presentation to unveil the new Jump scooters launched in Sacramento, CA

THE STORY

When Uber's Jump brand needed to showcase their latest scooter prototype for a pilot program in Sacramento, they approached us for help with presenting it to the audience. This new scooter boasted advanced technology to prevent sidewalk riding and improper parking, as well as help with deployment operations. We wanted to showcase the cutting-edge technology in a way that would excite the audience.

THE CHALLENGE

Since the prototypes were not yet fully produced, due to Covid restrictions, we couldn't take still images or video of the parts, making it difficult to showcase the features and technology in a meaningful way.

OUR SOLUTION

We created a stunning high-fidelity 3D model that demonstrated the assembly of the new scooter. Our team collaborated closely with Uber's engineers to bring their 3D models from SolidWorks to life with the correct materials and lighting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Direction

  • 3D model clean up and prep

  • Animation

  • Texturing

  • Lighting

  • Project Management

THE RESULTS

The resulting animation was beyond Uber's expectations and became the centerpiece of their reveal presentation. With our help, Uber was able to impress the audience and generate buzz around their latest scooter technology, even before it was fully produced.

  • "Working with this team was a game-changer for our launch event. Their work made the presentation come to life, and the response from our audience was beyond our expectations. We're thrilled with the results and can't wait to work with them again."
